Adonis is a series of twenty CMYK Risograph prints, arranged in a grid, to make up a photograph of Haitian Canadian professional boxer Adonis Stevenson (Photo Credit Dave Nadkarni/Premier Boxing Champions). The work is a continuation of my research into the language of boxing and the lives of my ancestors who were famous fairground boxers in the 1920’s and 30’s. The piece was exhibited at the UAL MA Visual Arts Pop Up Show at Camberwell College of Arts, March 2018.
