16:9 Billboard Project - Kingsgate Project Space

One More Round is a continuation of my research into the language of boxing and the lives of my ancestors who were famous fairground boxers in the 1920’s and 30’s. The work touches on ideas about class, barriers, divides and masculinity. This piece is part of a series of photographs of the Eccles Boxing School  - a boxing gym situated in an old cotton spinning mill in Salford.

The billboard was comissioned for the Kingsgate Project Space 16:9 billboard project November 2018 - January 2019
